Open Banking is simple, fast and secure. It's also significantly cheaper to process payments and donations. But not all UK banks fully support Open Banking yet.
Sharing donation pages
Wonderful charities receive their very own donation page. This page can be used for general fundraising, rather than specific, event-based campaigns. These Wonderful donation pages are how charities can keep donations rolling in throughout the year.
Charity registration with Wonderful
You must be registered for at least 18 months with either the Charity Commission for England and Wales, the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, or the Scottish Charity Regulator.
How can I create an event page?
If you are participating in or hosting an event for a charitable cause, we can create an event page for you to appear on wonderful.org.
Exporting donation data
Charities can download full donation information and Gift Aid data via their account at wonderful.co.uk. Data columns are formatted to make claiming Gift Aid straightforward.
After your fundraising has finished
Once you're nearing the end of your fundraising event you might be wondering what happens after your fundraising event date or end date.
How to create a fundraising page
Get started by creating a wonderful page for your fundraising efforts. Once you've created your fundraising account at wonderful.org you'll be able to create fundraising pages for any charity listed on the platform.
Posting fundraising page updates
Wonderful fundraisers can post regular updates on their fundraising pages via their online accounts at wonderful.org. These updates will appear on the public-facing page so that everyone can see what's been happening.
Replying to donation messages
When donors make a donation to a Wonderful fundraising page they are able to include their name and a public message of encouragement for the fundraiser. Both of these are optional.
