Making a payment via Wonderful - whether as a consumer or a charity donor - needs to feel safe and secure. Wonderful is an FCA Authorised Payment Institution leveraging the speed, security and simplicity of Open Banking.
Making a donation to a charity on a Wonderful.org fundraising page is quick and easy, with the payment being transferred directly from the donor's to the charity's bank account.
With Wonderful, the payment process uses Open Banking technology. Open Banking is a new and universally recognised system for sharing financial data and authorising payments in the UK. There's no need for donors to dig out their credit card or type in account numbers and sort codes. Instead, the payment is simply authorised in the donor's existing online bank account or mobile banking app, with all major UK banks supported.
