Sharing donation pages
Wonderful charities receive their very own donation page. This page can be used for general fundraising, rather than specific, event-based campaigns. These Wonderful donation pages are how charities can keep donations rolling in throughout the year.
To help charities get as much funding as possible, we don’t just offer a fee-free service. We also make sharing your donation page quick and easy.
Sharing your donation page URL
You can share the link to your charity’s donation page as you’d share any other link – like posting your charity’s website to Facebook, or sharing a great resource on Twitter. Simply copy the URL and paste it wherever you want to share it.
To maximise your donations, you should consider including the URL as a permanent fixture on your bios and ‘about’ sections on any social media profiles, as well as posting it periodically.
A similar philosophy applies when sharing your link via email. You should absolutely send out emails specifically to let donors know of your Wonderful Payments profile and invite them to donate. And of course, it will be a key component of all fundraising emails you send out in future. But to really reach as many people as possible, why not make it part of your email signature? That way, every time you send an email, the recipient will have a link to make an easy, speedy donation right away.
Great channels for sharing your donation page URL include:
- Social media posts (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram).
- Static social media bios/about sections.
- Email marketing.
- Email signature.
